This course is organized in two phases. Phase I training consists of Inactive Duty Training (IDT). IDT is conducted at The Army School System (TASS) School Battalions, and must be completed prior to entry into Phase II training. Phase II training consists of Active Duty Training (ADT).
113-25U Phase I: Active Duty and Reserve Component personnel assigned in or to be assigned to a unit position requiring reclassification to MOS 25U10.
If the unit being trained does not have the equipment called for in this POI then the unit will coordinate with other units for equipment or substitute compatible equipment on hand in the unit. This course was developed using modular techniques. This allows the course manager some variance in sequence of training, with some exceptions. See the Course Management Plan (CMP) for detailed training sequence. This course contains Study Assignments each student must complete prior to starting some classes. See the Course Management Plan and A01-LP1 for complete details. The Study Assignment will also be listed in each lesson. Study Assignments do not count for Instructor Contact Hours (ICH). Course Length Considerations: This course is performance-oriented and designed to provide training and MOS certification to enlisted Soldiers who are reclassifying to MOS 25U10. Course length factors include: student prior service experience, prior common tasks training, instructor to student ratio of one to sixteen, student to equipment ratio of one to one where possible, and maximum class size of sixteen. The Individual Training Record, DA Form 5286-R and Service School Academic Evaluation Report, DA Form 1059 from IDT must accompany the Soldier when attending ADT or any subsequent IDT or ADT training.
There are no Prerequisites in the Prerequisite Courses section. See other sections.
